An expected outcome from Group A of ESL Pro League.
The first group of ESL Pro League has concluded. We have a clear view of the table and the journey for the teams of Group A. We have single teams going into quarterfinals of the Playoffs and a few to go into Round of 12s. Let’s have a closer look at the same.
ESL Pro League Group A – Quarter-Finalist
Ninjas in Pyjamas secured the first spot to qualify for the quarterfinals of the competition. NIP won 2-0 against Fnatic and Entropiq. They also defeated MOUZ and LookingForOrg 2-1. Ninjas had a tough time against G2 Esports, losing 2-0 to them. It will be interesting to see how they play against a tough opponent in the Playoffs.
Round Of 12
Entropiq and Fnatic made it to the final twelve teams who will match up against each other to qualify for the quarterfinals. Entropiq defeated MOUZ, LookingForOrg and Fnatic. However, they lost to NIP. Fnatic could only win three matches the draw and sit third on the table.
Eliminations In Group A
One of the most surprising parts of Group A was G2’s performance. They started with a win against L4Org, but couldn't win against MOUZ, Fnatic and Entropiq.
MOUZ and LookingForOrg also join G2 and face elimination from the fifteenth season of ESL Pro League.
